A short movie about the Antinori family by film director Cinzia Th. Torrini: “The Antinori’s: Vintners since 1385” narrates the history of the Marchesi Antinori family and the role it held in Florentine society in past centuries with the aid of some of the most representative works of art in the family’s private collection. The tour winds its way through the winery’s outdoor and indoor spaces focusing on production processes, the winery’s innovative architecture and contemporary works of art that are on display throughout the itinerary. Guests will have private access to production areas, barrique and barrel cellars, and the area where large casks are left to age.
The wine tasting experience will be held in the striking suspended tasting room or in the more intimate Bottaia room and includes four wines: A Toscana rosato IGT, Villa Antinori Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva, Marchese Antinori Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva and Maggiarino Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG.
The selection of wines may change depending on the season and availability.
The visit lasts approximately two hours and includes other guests.
The tours are in Italian or English (tours with a translator can be arranged only by previous agreement).
