Terms and conditions for online sales of winery visits and tasting events
1. Definition and object of the contract
These General Terms and Conditions regulate remote sales through the website www.antinori.it, hereinafter “Website”, of winery experiences, tasting events and wine tourism activities, hereinafter “Services”.
The contract is stipulated between the customer, hereinafter “Customer” and Marchesi Antinori S.p.A. with legal headquarters in Florence, Piazza degli Antinori, 3, Fiscal Code/Vat number 05087460480, registered at the Business Registration Office of Florence, Certified email address:
marchesi_antinori@legalmail.it, hereinafter “Winery” or “Seller”.
2. Scope of the Contract
The purchase of Services is reserved exclusively to individuals who:
a) are adults;
b) act as consumers (pursuant to the Consumer Code, specifically for purposes not related to their commercial or professional activity);
c) fully accept these Terms and Conditions available on the Website;
d) make a reservation through the system made available by the Website.
3. Purchasing procedure
The Customer should select the visit and/or tasting event they would like to purchase, select the date, language and number of participants, fill in the order form then proceed to complete advance payment. The contract of sale is successfully completed once the Customer has received an e-mail confirmation from the Winery that recaps the date, time, number of participants, price paid and applicable conditions.
It is strictly prohibited to make reservations with false information or information referring to third parties without their consent, or for speculative or fraudulent purposes. In the event of violations, the Winery reserves the right to cancel the reservation and report the incident to the competent authorities.
4. Prices and Advance Payments
All prices are in Euro, IVA included (VAT tax).
Full payment in advance is required at time of booking.
Failure to successfully complete payment will cancel the booking.
Payments may only be made by credit card.
5. On the Day of the Tour/Tasting
The Customer is required to arrive on time on the day, time and place indicated on the e-mail confirmation.
If the Customer does not show up for the booking or withdraws, no reimbursements or refunds will be made, and the Customer forfeits the entire sum paid.
Winery experiences may offer alcoholic beverages. Only adults over 18 years of age may participate in wine tastings. Responsible and moderate consumption is recommended. It is not recommended to drive after the consumption of alcoholic beverages.
6. No Right of Withdrawal
Pursuant to the Consumer Code, article 59 letter N, the Right of Withdrawal is not applicable to Services provided related to leisure activities if the contract provides a specific date or a period of performance.
Therefore, once payment has been made, the Customer is not entitled to any reimbursement or refund not even in case of voluntary renunciation, obstacles or unforeseeable circumstances, unless cancelled by the Winery (see below paragraph).
7. Cancellation or changes made by the Winery
In the event of cancellation or changes due to organizational reasons or force majeure (e.g. extreme weather conditions, health emergencies), the Winery will offer the Customer:
- An alternative day and time, or
- A full refund of the amount paid.
- The Winery is not liable for any additional costs or damages that the Customer may have incurred (e.g. travel, accommodations or related bookings). The Winery reserves the right to change the content of the Service booked by the Customer for unforeseeable or reasons unrelated to the Winery (e.g. adverse weather conditions, extraordinary maintenance, unavailability of staff or venue) and will guarantee a Service of equivalent value or duration.
The Customer will be promptly informed by email or telephone. Under no circumstances will such changes entitle the customer to a refund unless the Winery cancels the Service entirely.
8. Liability
The Winery shall endeavor to provide the Service in accordance with the description on the Website. It is the Customer’s responsibility to inform the Winery about any allergies, food intolerances or specific requests at least 48 hours prior to the Service.
The Winery cannot be held responsible for any disruptions in the Service due to force majeure (including strikes, interruptions in transportation, illness, pandemics, health regulations and natural events), nor for indirect or consequential damages resulting from non-performance of the Service.
The Winery reserves the right to ban anyone who behaves inappropriately or dangerously from the Service.
Art. 9 – Participation of Minors
Minors may participate only if accompanied by a responsible adult. Participating in tasting events of wine or alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited for minors under 18 years of age, even if accompanied by an adult.
The Winery reserves the right to request identification and proof of age.
Minors may be allowed to participate in the Service, excluding the tasting event, at a special price, when available and upon request.
Art. 10 – No Smoking Policy
It is strictly prohibited smoking of any kind inside the Winery’s premises and in those areas designated for tours and tastings, except for specially designated outdoor areas.
In the event of violation of this policy, the Winery will suspend the Service or will remove the Customer from the Service without the right to claim reimbursement.
Art. 11 – Allergies, Food Intolerances and Health Conditions
Customers are responsible for informing the Winery about any allergies and/or food intolerances at least 48 hours before the Service.
If the Customer fails to disclose allergies and/or food intolerances, the Winery cannot be held liable for allergic reactions nor any resulting adverse consequences. The Winery implements hygiene and food safety quality standards in compliance with the HCAAP principles.
Art. 12 – Pet Policy
Pets are not permitted anywhere on the Winery’s premises including common areas in front of the Winery, the Wine Shop, restaurant, outdoor terraces.
Art. 13 – Parking Policy and Liability
The Winery has a complimentary unmonitored parking area both on premises and in the immediate vicinity, which is subject to availability.
Parking is complimentary but the area does not have surveillance nor attendants.
Therefore, the Winery declines all liability in the event of loss, damage or theft of Customers’ vehicles or third parties inside parking areas.
Do not leave any valuable items in your vehicles and lock doors and close windows.
14. Intellectual Property
Contents of the Website (images, logos, text and videos, etc.) are property of the Winery and its licensees and may not be copied or used without authorization.
15. Processing Personal Data
Personal Data will be processed pursuant to EU Regulation 679/2016 (GDPR).

16. Applicable law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be exclusively governed and construed in accordance with the laws and regulations of Italy. Jurisdiction for all disputes arising with consumer Customers shall be with the Courts of the Customer’s place of residence or domicile.
For non-consumer Customers, jurisdiction shall be exclusively with the Court of Florence.
