The Accademia Antinori collection includes some of the most representative works by Livornese maestro Eugenio Cecconi, whose sensitive portrayal of Tuscan rural tradition make him one of the leading 19th century painters of hunting and farming scenes. The canvases "Alberese, Abbaiata a fermo" (1892) and "Richiami lontani" by Eugenio Cecconi were displayed at the Palazzo Archivio di Stato in Florence in June 2003, to celebrate the centenary of the artist's death.
